I FINALLY found a protein powder I really like.....

Hey fam!!!  I don't know if you recall - but I've posted several times about preferences for protein supplements - I generally find that powder folk don't like RTDs and the reverse.  I've been an RTD only girl since surgery but as of last week, I FINALLY found a powder that I really, REALLY like!!!!!

Syntha-6 Protein is what it's called.  Made by the same company that makes the Nectar powders.  I bought Chocolate and Carmael Latte flavors - the place I buy my supplements from gave me free samples and a free shaker bottle to try it out.  Both flavors are VERY good and they don't mix up clumpy or chalky at ALL.  I use room temp water to mix, then add crushed ice to make it cold - YUMMO!!!!!

MUCH cheaper than RTDs as well - I end up saving about 50% by switching to powder.  So - if you're looking for something - try this one out!

I will have to check this out.  Hopefully the store will have samples as well before I buy it.  I drink the Oh Yeah RTD Protein Shakes from time to time and it can be expensiv unless they are having a BOGO sale.

I drank the Oh Yeahs faithfully - and I'll tell you this powder is just as good or a lil better.

One caution - 1: don't use cold water to mix and 2: don't use too much water.  I scoop w/5 oz of water is just fine - you can thin it from there, but if you jack it up with too much water, it's hard to 'level' out.

I get mine from a local place - Nutrition Depot here in Houston.  Been using them since surgery - the mgr of the shop I visit knows me, so I get to test out their new stuff free most often and he gives me their distributor price - LOVE IT!!!

I've seen it on several bodybuilder/nutritional supplement sites.  I paid $24.99 for the 3lb (I think) container.

GM!!  Lorde knows I'm going to try this. Almost 2 years later and I still haven't a protein shake that I like.  My hair is calling for more protein.

I am SO with you!!!  I'm having hair issues too and that's exactly why I went on a quest to find protein I could handle!

Yes ma'm that's the only thing I miss pre op is my THICK HAIR!!  Pre op I used a course relaxer (the entire bottle might I add) now I use the regular strength and only use a scoop or two out of it......

Wow. I'm going to check that out.  I have not found a powder that I really like either.  I usually end up mixing a lot of fruit and/or yogurt into my breakfast smoothies in order to mask the taste of the protein.  I can't stand it in coffee alone. Ugh.   So thanks for the info.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...
